I've had a bit of a rubbish weekend, so I thought some flowers might cheer me up

Do It Yourself

I've recently been doing a little bit of D.I.Y. (that can be used as a noun, right?) (Super duper easy things, btw, I'm really not that talented.)

I've made:

A twinkle light lamp (using a mason jar) 

A whole bunch of friendship bracelets
(using embroidery thread and string.) 

I'd really like to make a few more things:

Milk glasses/adorable vases!

I've also recently put up another shelf in my room, (as I keep on making/buying/getting wonderful things and I don't have enough space for everything!)

Wonderful new shelf, featuring photos of my mum & aunty when they were wee, doilies (I love doilies, I am a nanna), Dennis & Donut (from Teddy Bears Wednesday), a lovely mirror given to me as a bridesmaid gift from my sister, an eiffel tower ornament from Paris, & my new twinkle light lamp. And above are my Jim & Pam magnets, a map of The Renegade Craft Fair Chicago from my lovely friend Kendall, and a watercolour from my other sister.

Melanie is the best at crafty ideas! I would love to make these little Photo Holding Nesting Dolls. I think I would paint mine mint green, sky blue, pale peach and coral.
