jose vanders
One of my favourite musicians is releasing a new EP very soon. And not only is she fantastically talented, but she's a lovely girl, too.
Pre-order Blue Notes by Jose Vanders here. (& follow her on Twitter, too. Listen to more songs on her Myspace.)

gorgeous music
I just recently came across Green or Blue, a New York based band whose sound is just heavenly. Give them a listen on their Facebook page. And lucky you, their EP, Glances, is available for just $US5 right here on Band Camp.
Definitely music for a relaxing night in.

emma and bertie
This video makes me so so happy and proud. This is one of me best friends in the whole wide world, Emma. She is so inspiring and artsy and just generally fantastic. It's her birthday today too, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMZO.

More Brooke Fraser
Oh my word, I just came across Kiwi songstress Brooke Fraser's blog, and by gosh, it is so gorgeous.
This inspires me, and now I kind of want to go on tour somewhere.

it comes in threes
Just one last thing:
MASSIMO DUTTI Soft Film from Ginesta Guindal on Vimeo.
How does this make me feel?
1. Jealous. Of anyone who has access to these pretty pretty clothes. Oh goodness, they are gorgeous.
2. Happy. It reminds me of Spring, which is here (even though it may not feel like it at the moment, with all the wind.)
3. Musical. Come on, Florence & The Machine? What's not to love?

Joy
In the words of the lovely Kendall, my heart is doing heartflips.
Because of this song.
The Stars; Sophie Madeleine
I heard this song for the first time about a minute ago, on Danni's wedding video. Which, by the way, just makes me want to get married. Or to plan a wedding. Or to have been able to go to her wedding. So gorgeous.
And for the low low price of 79p, you too can listen to this lovely song all day. Which is what I will be doing.
